Bimba "500" series hydraulic actuators have been redesigned recently. The Blue and Improved Original Line® incorporates all the features of the Bimba Original Line®. The hydraulic design is durable. It features a replaceable HEX STUD™ rod end that provides the benefits of a repairable rod. Bore sizes available are 1-1/16", 1-1/2", 2".

The actuators are rated to a non-shock hydraulic service of 500 psi. The piston rod is piloted into the piston by threading and riveting. The rod has a hard chrome plate. The piston rod's guide bushing is made of sintered bronze. The end caps and piston are made of strong aluminium alloy.
