The 42R-HG series is manufactured by Bodine Electric, and is a parallel shaft AC inverter duty gear-motor which has a Quintsulation™ 5-stage insulation system that is intended to meet NEMA MG 1-1993, Section IV, Part 31.It has a variable speed in 3-phase construction for operation with a broad range of inverter (AC drive) products.

The unit is completely sealed with IP20 class rating with an optional IP44 t-box kit installed. It also has an unvented gear-housing for universal horizontal mounting, which has industrial lip type seals on motor and output shafts.

There is a needle bearing for increased radial, load capacity and long life, which has large ball bearings on the output shaft. It is permanently lubricated with high-performance lubricant, which has hardened helical and spur gearing for quietness and high output to size ratio.
