The Filtered PWM DC Speed and Direction Control units feature a 115 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 1-phase input, combined with 0-130 VDC output, filtered for better cooling, brush longevity, reduced noise and wider speed range. They are equipped with Forward-Brake-Reverse (FBR) switch (dynamic braking), DIP switches (offering simple control calibration for different size motors),control board with dual diagnostic LEDs, NEMA 1 enclosure (for added environmental protection) and trim pots on PC board, providing adjustments for torque limit, minimum/maximum speed limit, acceleration time and manual speed regulation (with back EMF feedback for maintaining better than 2% regulation). Additionally, these units have terminal blocks located inside the enclosure (for motor connection) and toggle switches on enclosure, indicating AC power on. They are provided with factory pre-installed AC line cable, and rated for non-stop operation at 40 °C ambient temperature, without requiring added heat-sinks. The drives include Bodine 90VDC, 130VDC and 90/130VDC.
