The Series 61 Standard Cylinder possesses double-acting, single-acting and tandem operations, and utilizes aluminum end-blocks, piston and an anodized aluminum profile tube for extra strength. This device is fitted with a rolled stainless steel AISI 420B rod in addition to zinc-plated steel tie-rods and tie-rod nuts, PU seals. A double-acting low friction model is available with an NBR piston seal and NBR rod seal.

The Series 61 Standard Cylinder is suitable for mounting with front/rear flange, foot mounting, and front/rear/center/swivel trunnion. The stroke range of this device is 10-2,500mm and the operating temperature for standard and low friction models range from 0°C to 80°C (dry air -20°C), while the low temperature model (-40°C) ranges from -40°C to 60°C (dry air -40°C), and the low temperature model (-50°C) ranges from -50°C to 60°C.

Other notable components of this device include stainless steel AISI 303 nuts in addition to stainless steel AISI 420B tie-rods.
