The holding solenoid is manufactured by Dictator, and is highly suitable for hold open systems on fire protection doors. It is also utilized for the flush installation of the EM GD 50 U35, which has a standard flush box that can easily be installed. There is a magnet that is inserted into the flush box, which is then covered with the white front plate delivered along with the magnet.

The unit has a magnet that is provided with free cable ends to be connected in the flush box. It is attached with a spark extinction diode, which is integrated with polarity protection that avoids the diode being destroyed in the event of loss connection. The unit also complies with the directives of the EN 1155:2003.
