Micro-injection and micro-manipulation are made possible using the Eppendorf PiezoXpert®. Simple cell penetration is provided by this piezo assisted micro-manipulation device. Without any loss, piezo impulses are directly transferred to the capillaries. These impulses help puncture the cell membrane.

Embryonic transfers and inducing pluripotent stem cells into blastocysts are among the many applications of this particular device. It also can be used for intracytoplasmic sperm injection in mice as well as transfers of nuclear and enucleation materials.
