The double-width shaft clamp collars or simply, the shaft clamp collars are specifically equipped with threaded bores and plain bores. These contains a single-or two-piece wide collars that can clamp onto the shafts without the the possibility of leaving any mark. These can also be made of an aluminum or stainless steel.

The collar's bore sizes measure from 6 mm to 10 mm. Other technical features include an integral location face, a capacity to transmit torque in confined spaces, and the ability for high axial loading.
