The power drive controllers iPU power units control maximum of 4 circular or linear axes with brush-less/brush motors. All necessary control components are integrated by the compact controller. This helps in solving variety of automatic tasks. iMD10/iMD20 final output via I/O module to ensure safe control & power electronics.

The interface for NC control is provided and the CANopen interface in the housing back is provided in the iPU power unit. This works according to the bus protocol of DS301 and DS402. The controller may control interpolation of all the 4axes and track processing by the use of CAN PCI board/iPC series control computer.
Rest state monitoring & automatic jerk limitations are provided in the iMD10/iMD20. The control elements are integrated in the housing front.
