The torque limiters from MAYR is used as a protection for high torques. It is ideally used to replace hydraulic clamping sets and shear pins. These can handle massive amounts of inertia with fast speed drives. Additionally, they offer a high-repeatability residue-free product when they are disconnected during an overload.
