The AMSS series is a stainless steel brushless servomotors. Conforms to the requirements of the EHEDG hygiene guidelines. 4 poles sinusoidal brushless motor, totally enclosed. Rotor with NdFeB magnets.
It is built with IP69K protection rating and with compliance to CEI EN 60529 directive requirements. The unit comes with a safety circuit beaker, class H winding, and 2 pole resolver. In addition, the system reduces clearance bearings with special grease for high temperature applications. Easy and quick to clean thanks to the smooth surface design. Powers from 94 to 740 W. Torques from 0.3 to 2.35 Nm.

Built in Aisi 304 steel mainly for highly critical applications in the food & beverage sector, and in Aisi 316 steel for the chemical-pharmaceutical sectors, AMSS servo motors are totally resistant to acids and alkaline solutions, and also withstand extreme, frequent washing with high-pressure nozzles.
This series offers many advantages: they are smaller and lighter, and grant higher performance than steel asynchronous motors of same power, which are heavy, burdensome and offer less performance.

Thanks to IP69 protection, absence of ventilation and a special structure with surfaces that are completely smooth - without protrusions or grooves - these servo motors are very easy to wash and can be operated in conditions requiring total hygiene.
