Across industries, short times for acceleration and deceleration times are demanded by a lot of machines, such as injection molding machines. The high inertia of the moving parts of conventional electric machine systems places limits on their acceleration and speed.
Moog Maximum Dynamic Brushless Servo Motors (MD Series) have been designed to serve this need of higher dynamics in industrial applications. This is made possible by increasing the peak torque and inertia ratio, and delivering a superior performance.
The excellent overload capacity of the electromagnetic design increases the available torque for acceleration and deceleration of load. This helps in achieving greater dynamics as well as improved dependability, cycle times and energy savings.
The MD series motors are available in a number of versions. This coupled with the ease of integration into existing systems minimizes the effort and cost of redesigning as well as leads to space savings.
