The Robus, manufactured by Motive, uses optimum power steels such as 15CrMo4 and case hardening to 58 ±2 HRC, in order to reduce the wear rate in wheels. All wheels are profile-ground according to Din 3962 class 6 accuracy for minimized noise and high efficiency rates.
The shafts of the unit are built from 42CrMo4-grade Steel materials, and are tempered to achieve a hardness of 23-35 HRC. These help in enhancing their capacity in resisting shearing stresses.
If the mechanical durability and the service factor of a helical gearbox are centrally affected by the centers distance of the last phase, Robus delivers comprehensive levels of durability. Single-stage ratios between 2 and 6, together with appropriate gears sizes, result mathematically in adequate teeth number and size (module) of every wheel, and a good fractioned load between the reduction stages.
