These Ball Screw brakes are built with enhanced torque and spring-engaged brake performing on the machined end of a ball screw resulting in elevated accuracy for the holding of the ball screw position. It has an expanding shaft/clamping hub coupling that connects the brake shaft to the end of the ball screw. This coupling has an elastomer insert with increased torsional stiffness. It has a holding force up to 125 Nm (1100 in-lbs).

These tools are the central safety brake that helps in the avoidance of back driving, equipment damage and load drops during mechanical defects or power loss occurrences.
