The NHL nano-hybrid linear stages is a kind of spindle drive that can hold extreme quantities and high level of torque. It has a diameter of 290 mm that allows accurate positioning in nanometer range, and it also has a piezoelectric actuator and high resolution measuring system.

The OWIS is suitable for extreme work loads and long travels that requires high accuracy. Its limit switches have hall-effect to provide better configuration settings to the user.

The equipment also gives the qualities of a micro and nano positioning system and multi-axes combinations are also possible. The unit is crafted out of strong aluminium and covered with black anodized. This is to ensure the prevention of stray light or reflections against the device.
