The Cat.SM is manufactured by Rossi. It is a low-backlash planetary electric gearmotor, with a maximum capacity of 2800 Nm. It is supplied filled with synthetic oil, which can last for an extended span of time. It also has a proportioned bearings for low speed shaft and planet gears. It also has a single-piece steel planet carrier.
