The Cat. EP Series is manufactured by Rossi Habasit Group, and are planetary electric gear motors equipped with a nodular cast iron housing. They have a nominal torque of 20,000 Nm, transmission ratio of 3,000 and power supply of 55 kW. These offer an approximately 4 reduction stages suitable for coaxial and right angle shaft. Additionally, these gear motors are used in applications involving automotive, aerospace and marine propulsion.
