Sycotec's frequency inverter is a power control conversion device which is used to convert normal power supply to another frequency power. It can be used as a stand-alone device or as an expansion module for machine tools. When equipped to other tools, the inverter can drive synchronous or asynchronous motor spindles and motors with speeds of up to 480,000 rpm.

The device is composed of a rectifier, a filter, a braking unit, a drive unit, a detection unit, and a micro processing unit.

It comes in three different models: TV 4503, TV 4506, and TV 4538.
