orthogonal gear-motor / spiral bevel

The gearbox assembly has a rhobust, fully machined, fully sealed cast iron housing. Gearing reduction starts with matched sets of Gleason spiral bevel gears, case hardened. The drive is then taken through a second and / or third reduction (as required) helical gears in case hardened steel. High load taper roller bearings are used on all shafts (except hollow input, when angular contact ball as used) to optimise the radial and axial loads capacity. The option of no backdrive (one way bearings) is available, when only one direction of drive rotation is desired.
