CNC cutting machine / sheet metal / laser / plasma

Ficep supplies this automatic machine for Steel Fabricators, to manufacture gussets, plates, stiffeners, etc. from raw sheet metal for making holes, marking (optional) and cutting in a single operation without interim handling and with a single operator.

Frame:
Built from aluminium; its weight enables it toaccelerate and decelerate with high levels of efficiency, therefore producing a high quality cut.
All racks and pinions are precision-built and the motors for adjusting the position ensure positioning of the numerical axes X and Y at high speed (70m/min when empty).
A laser pointer (optional) is used to take the original settings of the plate quickly and easily when several off-cuts of sheet metal are placed on the table to be machined.

Mechanically welded design and large size
Suction devices with valves; very effective for cutting thick materials as the suction is concentrated in the cutting area.
Sliding trolleys positioned underneath the table enable easy recovery of fallen pieces, debris and, above all, small pieces, without having to remove the plate supports, thus saving lots of time.

Plasma torch:
The Kronos PC15 and PC20 are fitted with highdefinition Hypertherm plasma torches HPR 130XD and HPR 260XD.
The height of the torch is regulated by an automatic device, thereby optimizing the durability of the consumables and the quality of the cut.
Automatic gas console (optional) enabling fast automatic transition from cutting to marking. It self-adjusts automatically, taking account of gas pressure variations to supply a more consistent cutting performance.
An anti-collision device protects the torch.
