isel Germany presents isy-CAM 2.8 and 3.6 CAD/CAM software.

isy2.8 has CAD functionality with no volume modeller. It supports Win XP, Windows 7 and 8, 32-/64-bit version. It allows importing DXF/EPS/AI/3D STL data. For exporting, it allows NCP format and optional G-Code proven CAM strategies. isy2.8 is suitable for a variety of applications. These include drilling/contour and pocket milling, for engraving with thinning, and cylinder surface engraving with 4th axis. It is also used for 3D roughing and finishing of STL data, such as 3D scanning models. It can be directly called with remote out of isy-CAM.

isy3.6 provides advanced mesh manipulation. It is available in 32-/64-bit version. It is suitable for hybrid milling of both steep and flat areas in a single step, trochoidal milling, and detecting and handling of residual material. It provides multi-sided machining (3+2 axis, hired milling) which can be extended to 5 simultaneous-movable axes.

Both isy2.8 and isy3.6 have common features such as multi-core support to dynamic simulation of rotatable parts. Line styles and colors can be defined freely. They have a built-in online help feature and user interface is configurable. They allow simultaneous and independent work on multiple drawings. Both have geometric elements like points, ellipses, lines, circles, curves, (polygons, splines, bezier curves, NURBS), polygons and so on.
