The 9441 / 9444 series has a Fieldbus connection Ethernet/IP with 100 megabits or Industrial Ethernet Modbus TCP. The 9444 series allows redundant ethernet connectivity. The unit resists eruption because of its optical fiber optic cable that is essentially secure: "Ex op is". The 9444 series also incorporates Ex i power source to supply modules up to 8 I/O, as well as integrated field tools.
