Siemens RUGGEDCOM RMC30 is a two-port Serial-to-Ethernet server designed exclusively for electrically harsh and climatically demanding environments such as various utilities. It lets you communicate with any serial device and maintain continuous connectivity through a simple Ethernet interface.

The compact, galvanized steel enclosure enables either DIN or panel mounting to ensure proper use of cabinet space. To enable worldwide operability, the integrated power supply can handle a wide voltage range. It can be placed in any location without internal cooling fans since it works between -40 and +85°C.

A solid screw down terminal block offers both RS232 and RS485/422 ports. It is compliant with EMI and environmental standards applicable to utility substations, industrial manufacturing, process and control and intelligent transportation systems.
