The SolidWorks Electrical Professional package is a combination package featuring electrical schematic design operations used in SolidWorks Electrical, along with 3D operational capabilities of the SolidWorks Electrical 3D system. This combination package features both single-line and multi-line schematic tools such as an integrated library complete with over 1,000 different parts and symbols, allowing users to speed up the design of their embedded electrical systems.

This package allows designers and design teams to work on one or more project, with all projects kept in sync with real-time bi-directional updates. All 2D and 3D work done through use of this system is synchronized in real time, and it is possible to create BOMS that are fully integrated and feature electrical and mechanical parts. This package permits 3D model schematics integration, placing the 3D electrical parts into the model, design connections and paths with wires/cables/harnesses.
