The vacuum contactor is constructed within the kilo-volt range of 1.1 kV to 12 kV. This vacuum contactor is specifically engineered to be used in various applications that include the switching of capacitors to attain reactive power compensation. It is also used in the switching of reactors and transformers. This compact and cost effective tool is utilized in the neutral grounding of generators and also in switching motors. The process of motor switching includes specific operations such as pumping stations, crawler cranes and lifts hoists.
