The Dresser-Rand HHE reciprocating compressor is conservatively designed to provide high reliability, with flexible operational capabilities and a strong build.

These rugged HHE compressors provide gas compression up to more than 60,000 psi and well are suited to drivers ranging from 200 to 22,500 hp (16,778 kW).

HHE frame configurations come available in versions with up to ten crank throws. The VB, VG, and VL models all have a variable crank design fearuting a bearing between each crank throw, allowing for both odd and even crank throw options to be possible. This means that balancing cylinders, connecting rod and crossheads are not required for odd throw applications, and both cost and parasitc power can be reduced by using the Dresser-Rand HHE reciprocating compressor.

There is a variety of HHE frame sizes to choose from; as well as cylinders, valves, distance pieces and driver options.
