polishing abrasive disc / ceramic

The abrasive disc is manufactured by the Hoffman Group, and has an optimum connection between the holder and sanding disc due to quick-release metal fastening. The sanding disc is centralized, which works without any vibration. It can be easily replaced by hand, even after heavy use. The unit is used for efficient sanding down of small areas, even with varying contours in tool, mould and model making, machine, plant and container building.

It is suitable for general structural steels such as unalloyed and alloyed quenched and tempered steels, nitriding steels and tool steels up to 900 N/mm2. Its other applications include high speed steel up to 1200 N/mm2, alloyed quenched and tempered steels up to 1400 N/mm2, and alloyed case-hardened steels up to 1400 N/mm2. The unit is applicable for dry machining.
