Area of application:
The pre-crusher, type PBEW "Dracula" was developed to improve the capacity of downstream preperation machines and the size reduction of voluminous residual and waste wood such as packaging materials, pallets, construction wood and old wood furniture. The pre-crusher, in special design, is also suitable for the size reduction of flake- and MDF-packages. The voluminous feed material is pre-cut and dosed into the downstream process.

Method of operation:
Depending on the installation of the machine, the type of feed material and the conditions on site, the material can be fed by means of a front-end loader, a conveyor belt or any other conveyor system. The teeth of a slow-speed rotor tear off parts of the large size material which is then further crushed on downstream auxiliary size reduction bars. Heavy contaminants are thereby already loosened and seperated from the feed material. This serves the cleaning of the feed material and the protection of the down stream preparation process as well as the size reduction machines. Material is laterally discharged out of the machine or optionally to below out of the machine whereby a grate determines the size of the end product.
