The roller-cone type pilot bit range is specially designed for raise boring procedures, ideally with water flushing operations. It may be used to create holes of considerable lengths, with a broad range of rocks. It is also optimized for lessened tool complications.

The bits models are made with tungsten-carbide bearings and buttons.
