Ametek Land SPOT Range of multi-mode infrared thermometer has been designed for a wide range of applications including metal heat treatment, cold metal rolling, forging, galvannealing and galvanizing processes It has superior, in-built functionalities and an innovative, complete pyrometer design.

Using SPOT's sophisticated features result in high precision, user friendliness and versatility for measurement of non-contact temperature. SPOT increases operator satisfaction by combining Ethernet, Modbus TCP, video, analog and alarm outputs in one device. No signal processor is required.

The SPOT range of thermometer can measure 50°C up to 1800°C. There are 3 series of thermometers in the range including the 100 series, 160 series and the latest 210 series bringing our measuring range down to 50°C for our new M210 model.

Our 3 R models (R100, 160 and 210) have 5 operating modes including the important Ratio/2-color mode. This enables a single pyrometer to adapt to changing measurement conditions (such as temperature, emissivity and possible target obscuration i.e smoke), without changing the thermometer.

Viewing of pyrometer readings and configuration settings on the rear display as well as remotely through a web browser or by using the SPOT Viewer software.

Our SPOT Server software can operate up to 40 thermometers remotely, displaying 'Live' temperature readings and saving all measurements, and setting alarm levels for all 40 instruments.
