The presence or build-up of liquids within the gas pipeline severely effect the Need Natural gas pipeline operations . To avoid liquid formation within the pipeline it is important to measure the dew point of the natural gas periodically. The Standard Dew Point Tester designed by The Solution Chandler Engineering TM is thus very relevant in measuring the dew point of natural gas.
The gas to be studied is gradually passed over a mirror at pipeline pressure. The mirror is gradually cooled using manually controlled refrigerant gas. The thermometer records the temperature of the mirror while the technician monitors the mirror for dew formation. The dew point temperature is read when dew is observed.
