The LANCOM 200 series is a sulfuric acid dew-point monitor that is used to regulate cold-end acid corrosion, combustion and electrostatic precipitator efficiency and fuel additive development among others. This device is constructed to prolong efficient operation of coal or oil-generated boilers. The temperature of the exhaust gas monitored is above the sulfuric acid dewpoint range. Running the boiler at temperatures lower than the sulfuric acid dew point temperature causes the accumulation of sulphuric acid within the boiler especially on the colder areas of the plant. This portable monitor is integrated with a memory that is capable of storing a maximum of 10,000 readings.
