Do you know what it takes to properly manage quality and performance of analytical balances? If you are a lab or QA manager who needs to implement standard operating procedures to comply with GLP/GMP/GCP/ISO but doesnt even know where to look, the AD-1691 Weighing Environment Analyzer will come to your rescue. Simply follow the step-by-step guidance shown on its touch-panel screen, and you can do various tasks related to balance management, including documentation, quickly, easily and correctly on your own.
Specifically, the AD-1691 can help you in the following five ways: First, it lets you perform daily (confirmation of whether the balance meets proper conditions for use) and periodic (tests for repeatability, accuracy/linearity and eccentricity error) checks of balances in procedures already laid out by A&D for you.
Secondly, it enables high-level management of balance accuracy by estimating expanded uncertainty (k=2) for each calibration. No complex mathematical calculations or knowledge on uncertainty components is required.
Thirdly, it calculates the minimum weight as defined by the United States Pharmacopoeia, so you wont have to send for the balance manufacturer or a third-party specialist in order to work it out.
Fourthly, to improve the balance repeatability (and therefore the minimum weight), it allows you to use the A&D Measurement Environment Evaluation Tool for A&Ds BM series of micro analytical balances.
Finally, it can be used as a separate display console for an A&D balance, which is recommended when the balance resolution is so high that even the slightest tilting or tremor caused by direct key operation could compromise accuracy and precision.
