What with GLP and ISO standards, todays laboratories have an increasing need to find sustainable ways to verify the quality and performance of their pipettes in-house. Not to worry, though. The AD-1695 Pipette Professional brings together A&Ds powerful solutions for you to introduce a simple, viable standard operating procedure (SOP) for daily and periodic pipette checks.

For daily checks, you are simply asked to touch the screen and check whether the condition is met or not met for each item. The items to be checked are those which A&D recommends as the most basic for confirming that the pipette meets proper conditions for use, including the pipettes air-tightness. For this, the separately sold AD-1690 Leak Tester is highly useful.

For periodic checks, Pipette Professional enables you to easily test for pipette volume accuracy and precision by connecting it to one of A&Ds balances (Pipette Accuracy Testers series is strongly recommended). The test procedure follows the gravimetric method and allows compliance with ISO8655.

Pipette Professional automatically performs mass-to-volume conversions based on the entered test liquids (i.e. purified water) temperature and barometric pressure, and make pass/fail decisions compliant with ISO8655 standards, or your own preferred criteria.

For documentation requirements, the daily and periodic check results can be output to a USB flash drive in PDF report formats, or directly to a standard mini printer in simplified formats.
