The MBT 5252 heavy-duty temperature sensors can be used for processes involving the control of lubrication oil, cooling water, refrigeration plants and hydraulic oil within marine and general industries. Based on standardized Pt1000 or Pt100 elements, these sensors are capable of offering reliability and accurate measurements. Upon request, NTCP and PTC elements can be delivered with the MBT 5252, as well as a MBT 9110 transmitter. The -50 to 200 degree Celsius low temperature version of the sensor has a silicon cable-based measuring insert, which allows for vibration resistance.
Stainless steel AISI-316 Ti is used in the construction of all the components that are in contact with media. The standard with which the 5252 sensors are equipped is B-head, although they can be delivered with B-mini or a B-head featuring a screw cap if requested.
