Danfoss has introduced this cable type temperature sensor for providing better benefits. It is a temperature sensor used for heavy duty that is for controlling ventilation systems, cooling water, etc., in marine applications and also in the general industry. The device is capable of providing accurate and reliable measurement. It is kept inside the housing of stainless steel along with a cable so that it can be used flexibly. A sensor pocket is available with the device which helps in protecting the silicone cable from media. The Silicone or PVC cables can be replaced with teflon cable as per the request of the customers. It comes in 2- or 4-wire connection. Its temperature range is -50 to +200°C and has short response times with Pt100 or Pt1000 resistance element.
