Weldstar is the most advanced automated ultrasonic girth weld inspection system in the present industry of oil & gas transmission pipeline projects. The Weldstar includes a remote scanner head that features a combination of conventional and Phased Array ultrasonics for uncompromised productivity, flexibility and inspection integrity. The scanner mounted ultrasonics offers superior immunity to electromagnetic noise that is generated from welding and induction heating equipment. The modular configured hybrid system includes 16 conventional and 64:128.

The phased array channels offers unsurpassed inspection flexibility and built in redundancy. The robust packaging withstands severe shock, vibration and thermal loading with quick-change umbilical and other mission critical components chosen to ensure high availability. the advanced setup wizard allows to perform rapid job planning including automated calibration block design and specification. The weld data management software provides a superior weld quality tracking and trending reports for review by quality management.
