Krohne industrial OPTITEMP TRA-P14 temperature assembly offer only one design, which is without thermowell. Normally a compression fitting is used to attach the assembly.

It is possible to install the device within the present thermowells. It features an insertion-type process connection such as with compression fitting. The necessary insertion depth needs to be decided only at the last moment before installation. This makes the device suitable for all purposes. No necktube is foreseen.

TRA-P14 has a straight tip design. With RTD ≤ 600°C and TC ≤ 1100°C, it has a diameter of 6mm. The spring loaded mineral is isolated RTD or TC insert. The sheath insert is made of 316 L or Inconel 600. Both standard and customized lengths are available.

The device comes with the following Ex approvals, ATEX II 1G Ex ia IIC T6 Ga - ATEX II 1D Ex ia IIIC T145°C Da IP65 - ATEX II 1D Ex ia IIIC T175°C Da IP65 - ATEX II 1D Ex ia IIIC T185°C Da IP65. A variety of heads are available, ranging from IP54 to IP68. An optional transmitter with head mounting and display is available.
