The OPTITEMP TCA-S12 sensor with extension tube is a temperature assembly for screw-in. It is usually used in the lower temperature range of up to 150 °C/302 °F. When a neck tube is featured, the connection head cannot be heated up as much since it puts a distance between the process connection from the connection head. This is of specific importance when there is a temperature transmitter in the connection head.

The welded DIN-style design has multipart thermowells. Its process connection threads are G 1/2, G 3/4, G 1, 1/2" NPT and 3/4" NPT. It has a fixed neck tube connection. The straight tip and various diameters of 9, 10, 11 and 12 mm are other features. Depending on the load, it operates at a temperature range of -200 °C to ≤ 600 °C. You may choose from various heads to IP54 to IP68. An additional head-mounted transmitter and display may be ordered. It comes with spring-loaded mineral isolated RTD or TC inserts.
