PTC thermistor / chip

The Murata's PTC Thermistor is a chip type current limitation device that is designed to track the temperature in electronic equipment. This temperature sensor has an element that increases the electric resistance while the temperature rises. The Thermistor's "POSISTOR®" is also great for checking if the equipment is overheating, at the same time, it secures the circuits in case that too much current has been drawn. Other than the chip type, Murata also produced a variety of thermistor products to suit different application needs.
