The calibration of this device is done from the ambient temperature range between 10 and 260 degrees Celsius. In addition to this, the design is a rugged, handheld one, making the unit completely portable. This device is also able to achieve accurate, fast and stable readings, with a fast cool-down/heat-up time.

There are two designs available, standard and metric well, while the calibration certificate is included and comes with three data points. Next, a digital temperature controller of type 1/32 is built-in, and users can also optionally include RS232 communication capabilities.
