With the camera-based technology of the PSENvip, and control and automation systems such as the PSS 4000, Pilz is now offering a press brake safety solution. This is an important feature for retrofits and new machines. The operating speed is adjustable and cycle counts are considerably higher.

Additional benefits include user-friendly diagnostics and cost-effective operation. With the new version of the PSENvip, press productivity is impacted by a dynamic muting function. When the muting mode is normal, only the last few millimeters are covered by the upper tool to the plate at 10mm per second, which is considered to be the safe speed. Dynamic muting is capable of traveling at high speeds nearly right up to the workpiece.
