The J57HA is a refractometer that is made to meet the requirements of the food quality testing in which the automated refractometer is considered as a quality control instead of a laboratory unit. It is ideal for the applications of the food industry as it has a single flat measurement surface, an automatic electronic temperature control and one button measurement capability.

The unit provides a fully automatic measuring system. The user puts the sample on the prism, pushes the button and the results are shown on the 7.5cm x 10cm back lit LCD. Manual adjustment is no longer needed in the unit.
