Thermal Detection can offer fully prepared wire thermocouples for temperature validation.
Type T thermocouples are formed to any required length, in a range of wire formats and insulations. Hot junctions are formed using a capacitance welder under argon for a clean weld, and the junctions can be encapsulated with Teflon® for added durability. All materials are Class 1as a minimum, and selected tolerance wire is also available for additional precision.
Conductor sizes 1/0.3mm, 1/0.5mm, 7/0.2mm & 13/0.2mm as standard with either extruded PFA or lapped PTFE insulation, for temperatures between -50 and 250°C
Conductor sizes 1/0.3 and 7/0.2mm with Kapton® insulation for temperatures up to 350°C
Also available with weep holes and identification at both ends.
