Loctite thread lock Type 243 is manufactured for secure screw connections made with steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. It gets tough when oxygen is prohibited by the catalytic influence of metal ions. achieving semi-solid connection. This thread lock has 2'250 - 12'000 mPa·s active viscosity that best functions in a +150 °C temperature. It is available in blue, but cannot be used for plastics and copper alloys with a high Cu-content.
