These heating elements and power resistors are utilized for printing on austenitic steel or stainless ferritic substrates. This process is useful in the automotive industry and for inverters for concentrated photovoltaic (CPV) lighting. Designed by Aurel Microelectronics, the alumina or stainless steel substrates are available in either tubular or planar shapes. They are electrically insulating while being thermally conductive.
