Designed from Tranters Welded Competence Center in Germany, the Tranter Shell & Plate Heat Exchanger is capable of withstanding high temperatures that can be compared to gasketed plate heat exchangers. This model is developed with block-type welded and brazed aluminum exchangers on shell & tube, making it more susceptible to extreme thermal conditions. Even when filled, it features a reduced installed weight and has minimal hold-up volume. This model has bigger oblong plates with extended thermal length that is capable of working in heavy-duty applications.
These exchangers were made to work under a high amount of stress using its chevron-type plate core acting as its heat transfer element. These are attached to cassettes that are placed together with a perimeter wield.
