The Epson FX-890 printing system is capable of printing speeds up to 680 cps, and has a 20,000 power on hours MTBF rating. These specifications, along with its 400 million character print head service life and 7.5 million character ribbon cartridge, allow for highly productive printing operations with minimal production costs.

The 9-pin system is designed with a compact housing for easy installation with other systems, and features standard connectivity ports such as parallel, USB ports and the like. With EPSON Remote Configuration Manager™ software, the system can be easily set-up with Windows® operating systems.

The FX-890 may also be used as an alternative printing system for Okidata® Microline® 320/320 Turbo or Epson FX-880, 880+, and 980 models.
