Aeris® concept allows reducing height of HDGL (Hot Dip Galvanizing Line) cooling towers while improving strip stability and zinc coating control accuracy.

In the galvanizing process, the cooling tower design remains a major issue for product quality. Indeed, high capacity of modern galvanizing lines has been resulting in increased blowing velocities and higher cooling towers. These conditions have a detrimental effect on coating control, due to strip stabilization concern. Strip fluttering induces both additional zinc consumption and less coating quality.
