Laser beam welding is a very efficient, fast and reliable method for joining of plastic welding partners. Based on a longstanding competence in this field Jenoptik has developed in collaboration with producers the laser welding machine JENOPTIK-VOTAN® W.
The core element of the welding machine is a laser line consisting of eight independently on/off switchable diode lasers. With the arrangement of multiple laser lines to an entire laser line components with an area to be welded up to 1,500 mm x 600 mm are weldable in one step. The direct-diode-technology guarentees efficient and low-maintenance operations with excellent results. Short cycle times, low operating and maintenance costs are the outstanding qualities of the laser welding system JENOPTIK-VOTAN® W.
