GTAW welding head / automatic

Model D weld head can replicate all the accurate motions of a skilled manual GTAW welder. Particularly developed for multipass pipe welding applications, it produces welds strictly adhering to code quality standards.

D-Head used in pipemaster Power Source Models promotes productivity by increasing duty cycle, lowering repair rates and offering welds of standard quality. The compact head is perfect for smaller diameter pipe applications with restricted radial and axial clearance around the weld.

The D-head sits on pipe using metal Guide Rings that come for all standard pipe/tube sizes. The weld Head sits completely on one side of the joint, facilitating for pipe-to-fitting welds. The condensed head-mounted wire feeder utilizes standard size wire spools.
